Spicy Taco Burger!

What you’ll need

Siete wraps OR regular tortilla

1-2 servings of cheese of choice (preferably a super melty cheese)

Prep for Ground Meat:

16z pack of beef ( this makes 4 patties OR 1 and used the rest to make a beef bowl if so inclined)

1-2 tbsp of gochujang paste

3-4 cloves of garlic, minced

1/2 tbsp of soy sauce

1 tbsp of rice vinegar

1 tbsp of mirin

dash of salt

dash of pepper

secret ingredient 1 tsp of baking soda (the baking soda acts as a tenderizer for the ground meat)

Toppings:

I made some yummy guacamole and pickled onions. Choose whatever toppings YOU love! You can use some fresh onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, lettuce. The options are endless!

How To Do It:

Mix all (prep for ground meat) ingredients above and set to the side. Take out a tortilla and place about 3 oz on the tortilla.

Spread it out a little and place these inside the middle (I had regular sliced cheese that I tore into little squares and set right in the middle of burger). Place the rest of the meat on top encasing the cheese. Make sure no cheese is peaking out.

Place tortilla meat side down on a hot pan and let cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip over and cook for another 2 minutes.

Take off burner and top with all your favorite things! The guacamole and pickled onion added a refreshing coolness after the heat from the subtle heat from the gochujang paste.

Enjoy your juicy burger with your favorite K-Drama!

Pro Tip: The Siete wrap is grain free, it is a little gummier in texture as the oils and the juices start to release from the ground meat. Be very careful/gentle when flipping over the burger! A regular tortilla will not give you any pushback when flipping time comes.
